Current Student Elective Cancellation Policy

Ask for help if you have questions or would like assistance selecting electives! To register for elective classes, complete and submit this form. If an elective class is full, you will be notified and placed on the Waiting List. To graduate, 112 elective hours are required and included in tuition. Payment is due for hours beyond 112, so registration must be done in person.

Prerequisites are as follows: Those marked with † require a minimum of 4 hands-on classes or prior massage training. Those marked with * require a minimum of 12 hands-on classes or prior massage training. Students must attend the first day of an elective to participate.

Email StudentRecords@irenes.edu or visit Student Records immediately if you cannot attend a scheduled class. Cancellation notice is based on the date and time we receive your message and determines any refund or fee. Students may reschedule an elective up to 48 hours before class without incurring any fees. A $10 administrative fee applies to cancellations or rescheduling electives with less than 48 hours’ notice.   

Current students who miss an elective without providing 24 hours’ notice are recorded as absent. Students who are absent from an elective must attend the same class the next time it is offered to receive graduation credit. A make-up fee of $10 per instructional hour (maximum $100) is assessed to offset instructional and administrative costs.
